IEP

What is an IEP?

An IEP (Individual Education Plan) is a written plan outlining the special education programs and/or services required by a particular student based on the student’s strengths and needs.

Record of Accommodations

The record of individual accommodation(s) is required to help the student achieve their learning expectations.  It is a working document that identifies modified expectations or alternative learning expectations.

What is the Process in Developing an IEP?

This is a collaborative approach that includes members of the school team to ensure the best plan of action is developed for the student.  Pertinent information will be gathered and an individual plan will be designed to support student success. The IEP will be reviewed and updated annually to ensure everything is being done to support student achievement and well-being.
