On November 2nd & 3rd, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., the Ottawa Carleton District School Board, the Ottawa Catholic School Board, and the Halton District School Board in collaboration with the Ontario Council for Technology Education (OCTE) will be hosting Launch 2022, the third annual post-secondary pathway exploration virtual conference for Grade 11 & 12 students. 


Launch allows students to explore their chosen post-secondary pathway goal, recognizing that all pathways are first choice options. This virtual conference allows students a space to gather information about what is available as next steps, as well as hear about different learning experiences and opportunities from current students, apprentices and employers. 


Students will have the opportunity to visit over 85 great exhibitor booths and explore 60 workshops on topics such as Personal Finance, Scholarships, Gap Year Programs. Pathways to Careers in the Trades, Health and Wellness and many others by colleges, universities and employers. 


The event will also include panels of former students who represent the diversity of the students in all pathways, sharing their experiences as they pursued their pathways goals.
