Hospitality & Tourism - Culinary
Hospitality and Tourism is one of the top fields for employment in Canada and around the world. At Sir Guy Carleton, our culinary and baking courses prepare students to meet the diverse challenges in this multifaceted field. A hands-on approach embeds theory and real world experiences into the food programs and allows for varied opportunities to explore one's interest in this sector. Students will have opportunities to develop essential food preparation and presentation skills; will learn about event planning and marketing, customer relations, human resource management, inventory management, and tourism administration and management; and will examine the cultural and economic forces that drive tourism trends.
Courses offered:
Grade 9
- TFJ1O
Grade 10
- TFJ2O
Grade 11
